Hi. I have moved from an old version of Dreamweaver to Wordpress ... and it has not gone smoothly. I dearly miss the WYSIWYG environment and had hoped Yellowpencil would give me at least some of that back.

I had set out some elements on my home page, then installed Yellowpencil.  When I have moved them, they leave "Column Containers" & "Full Section Inners" all over the page. When I try to delete them, I lost half my text.  How are you supposed to manage those elements.

Also, I have an "Image with Text Over" element, which I thought I'd be able to move and resize, but nothing can be done to it.  I thought I'd be able to edit 'any element' on the page. Not so at the moment.

    Any thoughts.

    Thank you.

Hi, moving elements with Yellow Pencil isn't same as on Dreamweaver. Yellow Pencil follows some responsive techniques that are being used in your theme and some CSS rules. So I suggest you not to move elements too much, and not resize them too much.

Hello David.  Thanks for your prompt reply.  That is very disappointing to hear, as it was watching the demo and using the free version that inspired me to purchase the Pro version.  The demo shows resizing and the audio mentions moving etc.  I still like it as it easily can adjust the line spacing etc, but I don't think that overrules the fact I can't move and adjust the elements.  Given those reasons, I believe my best option is to respectfully request a refund, which is disappointing. I was so excited to see some 'Dreamweaver' options available. Thank you. Mostyn

Yes it does. But moving elements too much can break the layout. Sometimes it doesn't. For example if you want to replace header and footer by moving them it won't look good.

But moving elements works great! You can easily move and resize elements but just don't move them too much. YP follows all CSS rules to make sure website looks good.

Also Dreamweaver is completely different tool from Yellow Pencil but they both do the same purpose. With DW you can make pages, but with YP you can style them.

Try editing, read documentation and of that doesn't work you can always request a refund here.
