According to my observations, all changes made, even those made by inserted texts or media, change the template. I can only create a new page based on a template and change it.
So today I destroyed the standard post template. With all newly created pages the page layout was not in exspected order.
How can I change the layout of the post template's footer without changing the post template's body?
In other words, how can I edit the post template directly using Yellow pencil?
Hi,
You can always use Single or Template customization depending on your need.

I have several hundred post and pages and want to change the layout of the footer without touching the body.
Okay. You should use Global styling to change footer globally since you're applying on both posts and pages.
